Joyce Ann Plaisance

Joyce Ann Plaisance passed away at Terrebonne General Hospital on Monday, March 21, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Louis “L J” Plaisance Jr. and the late Lois Marcel Plaisance. Loving Sister of Wayne & Carl Plaisance, and the late Louis “J J” Plaisance, the late Jerry Plaisance and the late David Plaisance. She was the devoted mother of Brent Plaisance and Brandy Gordon, and survived by 5 grandchildren, and also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a long time resident of Marrero, LA and was currently residing in Bourg, La. She was one of the many diehard Saints Fans and was overjoyed when they won the Super Bowl. The family would like to give a HEARTFELT thanks to her Best Friend Kim for being there for her. She will be missed by many! Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at WESTSIDE LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the Service begins in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Montegut, LA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Joyce’s name to The American Cancer Society.
