Joseph E. Robicheaux passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of the late Florean Cantrelle Robicheaux and loving son of the late Joseph "Rube" Robicheaux and Lucy "T Lou" Badeaux Robicheaux. As well as the brother of Genevieve "Jenny" Gulizo (Victor) and the late Marie Barrilleaux (Wartel "Junior"). He was the beloved Uncle of Sue Gulizo Floyd (Robert), Jo Ann Gulizo Traina (J C) and the late Victor Gulizo Jr. (Elaine), Paula C. Fanara (Randy), Susie C. Tenorio (Dino), Lisa M. Clement (Bill), Marvin P. Clement (Jeanne). He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. Joseph (Paren, Joe Joe) was born on November 25, 1928 and was a Parishioner of St. Rosalie Catholic Church. He was a kind, gentle, simple, loving man with a big heart and anyone who knew or met him only had wonderful things to say about him. He had a way of putting a smile on your face, a great sense of humor and making each day a good day for everyone. He will be sadly missed by everyone. He joined the United States Army and served our country in the Korean War. He worked for many years at Southern Shell Fish Company and later retired as Custodian for Miller Wall School. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Belle Vie Living Center for all their help, care and love they showed to him and all the attending doctors, nurses and rehab center at West Jefferson Hospital. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Westside/Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5 101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 6:30 PM.
