John Salvadore Nocito

John "Sammy" Salvadore Nocito passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 65. He was born on March 14, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Salvadore "Sam" and Mary Nocito. Cousin of Rose McKinney, Linda Wilson, Brenda Nicks, Wayne Nocito, Perry Nocito and the late John Nocito. Also survived by many dear friends.

Sammy was a lifelong resident of the westbank. He made friends wherever he went and always had a smile on his face. His favorite place to eat was Coffee & in Marrero. He made daily trips there for breakfast and dinner. Sammy was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hook and Ladder Cemetery, 1000 Lafayette St in Gretna.
