Jo Ann Holloway Brown passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 76. She was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Elvira Holloway. Devoted wife of Charles Brown. Loving mother of Chad Danigole (Jan) and Brian Danigole (Jennifer). Proud grandmother of Rebecca Lazo (Sam), Joseph Danigole and Ryan Danigole. Sister of David Holloway (Beth). Jo Ann was also survived by many dear friends.
Jo Ann was a nurse for 40 years. She enjoyed taking care of others, traveling, sewing and gardening but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very generous loving woman and her favorite holiday was Christmas so she would have an excuse to give her grandchildren many gifts. Jo Ann was loved and will be dearly missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, October 25, 2024 beginning at 9:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM and internment will immediately follow at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery in New Orleans.
