James Thomas Ditcharo was called home to the Heavenly Kingdom to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 24, 2023, at the age of 81 in Algiers, LA.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Murphy "Happy" Ditcharo and Yolanda Alvarez Adams, and by his beloved wife, Clarice K. Ditcharo. He is survived by his brother, Dominic Ditcharo, Sr. his sons James M. Ditcharo (Pamela), Paris R. Ditcharo (Lori), Darrin D. Ditcharo (Connie), and Dale N. Ditcharo his grandchildren Darian Ditcharo, Megan C. Ditcharo, and Andrew D. Ditcharo. James was a carpenter by trade and was an avid fishermen. He will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 9:00 AM. Visitaiton will begin at 8:00 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
