Mrs. Gladys Ann Lee Denet

Gladys Lee Denet, a lifelong resident of Lafitte, LA, passed away at the age of 92 on August 14, 2013. Wife of the late Harold P. Denet, daughter of the late Fredrick and Angele B. Lee. Mother of Janet Lee Olsen (Lloyd), Haroldean Perkins (Mark), Sandra Ussery (the late Roy), René P. Denet (Lucy), Vera Ann Denet, Linda Rose Martin (Jules), and Peggy Sue Granier (Mark). Grandmother of Angela (Phil), Harold (Trudy), Debra, Danny, Farren, Kelly (Julie), Mark (Malisa), and Christina. Great-Grandmother of Phillip Paul, Adam, Ian, Hannah, Zoe, Jenna, Maya, Parker, Hudson, Conor, and Star. Beloved Monkey Nannie and treasured aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Good friend and neighbor to all. Sister of Agnes Leblanc, and the late Viola, Fred, Hazel, Sam, Vera, Herman, and René. She was a member of the Lafitte Senior Center and the “Rusty Magnolias” of the Lafitte Red Hat Society. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2653 Jean Lafitte Boulevard, Lafitte, on Friday Morning, August 23, 2013 at 11:00.
