Fritz Joseph Martin, Jr.

Fritz Joseph Martin Jr., of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born to the late Fritz J. Martin, Sr. and Mary Toups Martin. Loving husband of Donna King Martin for 54 years. Devoted father of Darryl Martin (Benji) and Brad Martin (Nicole). Proud Papa of Cade (Morgan), Cole, Cassie, and his great grandson, Kove. Brother of Cora Ordoyne (the late Douglas), Claire Monson (Richard), Mary Hunter, Dean Martin, the late Corrine Winter (the late Larry), and the late Fay Williams (Roy Sr.). Fritz had a tremendous amount of love for his numerous nieces and nephews.

Fritz was a charter member of Delta Fraternity. After retirement from Chevron in 2003, he took up golfing and became a member of the New Orleans Golf Association and Geaux Golf. Fritz looked forward to Tuesday's where he gathered at Da Bar with the guys. He was also the namesake of the annual "CrawFritz Fest".

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:30AM on Monday, March 27th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 8:30AM and continue until the Mass time. Fritz will be laid to rest at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
