Francisco Ybarbo

Francisco “Frank” Ybarbo passed away on June 15, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82. He was born in Kingsville, Texas to the late Fred and Josefa Ybarbo. Devoted husband of Anna Ybarbo. Loving father of Joe Resiter, Clay Bordlee (Cathy), Terry Bordlee (Jennie), Nora Bordlee and Anthony Bordlee (Kathy). Proud grandfather of Johanna Resiter and Ruby Resiter Cory Bordlee (Patsy), Von Dufrene (Roxanne), Dennis Smith (Maria), Dalton Smith, Nicole Frickey-Forbes (Jess), Michelle Davis and the late Dylan Smith. Great-grandfather of Brice, Brandon, Dawson, Gabriella, Samantha, Alyssa, Addyson, Lanye, Addison, Darrell and Brielle.

Frank proudly served 12 years in the United States Air Force. After his service, he worked at Home Depot until he retired. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Frank was a devoted Saints fan, loved to watch wrestling and western movies and enjoyed doing carpentry work. He was always ready to help anyone that needed it. Frank was dearly loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. The Rosary will be said at 12:00 PM and the committal service will immediately follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale.
