Francis "Red" Hebert

Francis “Red” Hebert passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 1:35 AM. Age 68 years, a native of Mathews, LA and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved husband of Judy Schwartz Hebert for the past 43 years.

Loving father of Dawn Hebert Camardelle and Jennifer Hebert Fleming. Father in law of Raymond “Moose” Camardelle and Raymond “Bo” Fleming. Son of the late Edgar Hebert and Alexina “Toot” Adams Hebert. Brother of Merlyn H. Dugas (Cameron, Sr.), and Betty H. Cheramie (late Charlie). Son in law of the late Joseph P. Schwartz and Marie Lois Jummonville Schwartz.

Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Westwego Senior Center are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the Chapel of Westside\Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Friday evening March 9, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Saturday morning after 8:00 AM until Mass Time. Interment will be in Holy Sanctified Cemetery, Westwego, LA. The Hebert family would like to extend special thanks to the employees of Wegeaux Café.
