Francis "Frank" Jones Button III of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the age of 75. Frank was born on March 9. 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Frank was a member of the New Orleans Civil Air Patrol and was in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Frank retired from the Jefferson Parish Water Department.
He was precedded in death by his mother Augustine Goubert Grillet, step father Robert A. Grillet, father Francis J. "Frank" Button, Jr., and his sister Rosalie Button Poche.
Frank is survived by his wife Janis Dunning Button, step son Michael Dunning, sister Frances B. Barrios, brother John E. Gray, niece Miko Lynn Poche, and nephew Carroll J. Poche, Jr., seven great nieces and nephews, and seven great great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
