Esther Patin Wilson died peacefully at the age of 96 on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Wife of the late Ellis Gerald Wilson. Mother of the late Patricia Wilson Landry (Sterling Jr). Caregiver and foster mother to Rose Anderson Chedotal (Paul). Daughter of the late Antoine Edgard Patin and Olympe Landry Patin. Sister of the late Alice Orgeron, Yvonne Glover, and Annie Romero. Grandmother of Pamela Landry Caravella (Chris), Sterling Landry III (Maria Toups), Angie Chedotal Rice and Bonnie Chedotal Otero. Great-grandmother of George, Libby and Joe Caravella, Bryce Landry, Alexis and Austin Rice, Cody Graves and Blake Otero.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM.
