Ernest "Bud" Joseph Borne

Ernest "Bud" Joseph Borne of Hahnville, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 89. Bud was born in Edgard, Louisiana to the late Leonard and Cecile Borne. Bud was married to Dorothy Baudoin Borne for 65 loving years. Devoted Father of Charles J. Borne (Melinda), Mark J. Borne, and the late Jerome A. Borne. Proud Paw Paw of Meredith Griffin (Howard), Brandy Moore (Charles), Shannon Reis, Rob Johnson (Nadia), Becky Daigrepont (Clyde), Leslie Cantrelle, Taylor Borne, and Cody Borne, and his great grandchildren Blake Reis, Ashlyn Reis, Camden Reis, Delainey Reis, Emma Daigrepont, Brady Johnson, Maya Johnson, Howard Griffin, Jr., Brylee Moore, Darryn Davis, Dominick Davis, Nora Moreno, and Nyomi Moreno. Survived by his siblings Nancy Heavey and Clarence Borne. Bud is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the Mass time. Bud will be laid to rest at the church cemetery in Taft, Louisiana.
