Erison Joseph Dardar, Sr., age 76, passed away on November 15, 2014 in Kentwood, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
Mr. Dardar was married to the late Lena Lacross Dardar; the father of Erison Dardar, Jr., step-father of the late Steve Ekinia, Jr. (former daughter-in-law Madeline), Louis Ekinia (Katherine “Kitty”), Perfecto Ekinia (Sharla), Veronica “Bonnie” Caulfield (Peter “Crawford”); the son of the late Joseph and Lucia Creppel Dardar; the brother of Nita Pitre (the late Alton), Tony Dardar (the late Yvonne), Adam Dardar (the late Barbara), Walton Dardar (Adel); and the grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of nineteen.
Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m. , held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana, 70072. (504) 341-9421.
