Erica Kay Schieffler

Erica is the daughter of Pattie A. and Carol F. Schieffler Jr., Granddaughter of Carol P. and Luther Adams Jr., granddaughter of the late Jeannette and Carol Schieffler, great- granddaughter of the late; Octavia and Luther Adams Sr., Enola and Claiborne Perrin, Vivian and Joseph Breaux, and Camellia and Willard Schieffler.

Erica is God Daughter of, Craig Sr. and Connie A. Arcement, Cousin to Craig Arcement Jr. (Brandi), Andia Leyva (Mike), and their children; Madison and Luke Arcement, and Kami and Steven Leyva. Neice to; Charlotte Olano (Owen), cousin to; Owen J. (Gretchen), Kevin (Sandi) and Melissa (Jadd), and their children; Seth, Jared and Caleb Olano, and Gavin and Addison Olano. Neice to; Jennifer Boudreaux (Ricky), cousin to; Sean and Heather (Johnny). Neice to; Gail Cheramie (Bobby), and Cousin to; Bobby (Amanda) and Megan (Noel), and their children; Ellie and Harper, and niece to her great-aunt; Potsy Cantrell (Edward).

Erica had a beautiful soul, always willing to lend a helping hand and help anyone or anything in need. She had a special spot in her heart for children and animals. She loved to spend time with her family and take special shopping trips with anyone willing to go, always with a coffee in hand. She will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church located at 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd. in Lafitte, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM.
