She is survived by her two children, Angela and Alex, and granddaughter, Jennifer.
Elsa was born on January 22, 1939, in Barranquilla, Colombia. She would later move to her permanent residence in Gretna, LA.
A devoted woman of faith, Elsa was an active and well-loved member of her church where she was known to many within her congregation. Her faith and love for the gospel were among her greatest passions. Outside of
church, she was an avid gardener with a love for flowers. Her favorite pastime was spending hours tending to her garden.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held for family and friends at Nueva Vida Baptist Church at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 21st.
The family would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement.
