Elaine Marie Waters

Elaine Marie Theresa Plaisance Waters passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Renis Waters. A loving mother of Faith Waters Read (Bill), Renis Waters, Jr., and Christopher Bern Waters, Sr. A proud grandmother of Deja Conrad, Haiven Waters, Christopher Waters,Jr. and the late Renis Waters, III and Jasmine Waters. A great grandmother of Riley Giovingo, Renis Waters, IV and Roman Conrad. Daughter of the late Ouida Chiasson and John E. Plaisance. Sister of Betty Joyce Autin, Beverly P. Clarke, Roland Plaisance, and Pamela Delaune. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 73, a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Westwego and Bridge City, LA. She worked at West Jefferson Medical Center for many years and retired. Upon retirement she enjoyed dancing, Elvis Presley, music, loved to make people laugh and spending time with her family a and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 4:30 pm. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm and from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
