Eddie Raymond Barrios

Eddie Raymond Barrios, born and raised in Westwego, Louisiana and a resident of Terrytown, Louisiana passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 83. Eddie retired from Avondale Shipyard after many years of service. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Amvets Post 38 in Westwego. A member of the VFW, American Legion. He was an active member of the New Orleans Orchid Society. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Alice Becker Barios. He was the son of the late Naomi Arnondin Barrios and Eddie Joseph Barrios. and brother to LJ (Mary Ann), Clark (Rose), Camille (Karen) Barrios, and sister Sheila (Steve Plaisance). Preceded in death by brothers Don, Jerry, Ruben (Sr.) Barrios , sisters Mayola Veazey and Betty Falcon. Beloved father of Elizabeth Ann Barrios, Wade Hollis Barrios (Jeanne) and Andy Vinnes. A proud grandfather of 2 grandchilden, Joshua Barrios (Lindsay) and Jeremy Barrios (Esther) and 3 great grandchildren, Trevor Barrios, Lillie Barrios and Lola Barrios. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Ochsner Meadowcrest ICU for the compassionate care given to Eddie.
