Earl Raymond Abadie passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of the late Ethel Abadie. Father of Earl Abadie, Paula Genusa, and David Abadie. Grandfather of Tabatha Genusa, Josephine Tucker, Samantha Genusa, and Christine Fayette. Great grandfather of Scott Genusa, Michael Robertson, Amirah Calfucura, Ariel Calfucura, and Layla Cervantes. He was a longtime Supervisor for the City of Westwego, and member of the Westwego Fire Department.
A funeral service will be held in the parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 19, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continue on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
