Donna Marie Ullo

Donna Marie Ullo, age 64, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Donna was born on April 1, 1958 to Carol Jean Wilson & Brian G. Kelley in East Chicago, Indiana. At the age of 16, she moved to Louisiana and created a life. She was a loving & devoted wife to Chris J. Ullo, Jr. for 40 years and an amazing mother to her four beautiful daughters, Shontell Ullo Prestenbach (Chad), Brandi Ullo, Cristy Ullo Biri, (Michael), and Laci Ullo. Affectionately known as Nana to her 9 grandkids, Zachary, Caleb, Rivers, Lyhla, Rowen, Sawyer, Jacelyn, Brayden, and Harley.

She was a caring daughter to Brian & Judy Kelley and an adoring sister to Dianne Kelley, Gerald Wilson, Patricia Ann (Bob), Mary Elizabeth, Shawn Kelley, Danny Kelley (Norma), Chuck Lavignette (Tracey), Chris Lavignette, Mary Ring (Gary), Lance Lavignette (Bonnie), and Brian Kelley, Jr.

She was the daughter-in-law to the late Senator Chris Ullo & Joyce Ullo, and sister-in-law to Cindy Ullo Robbins (Robbie), Frankie Ullo Boudreaux (Dennis), and Bernie Ullo Blanchard (Rudy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends that she loved very much.

Donna was beautiful with her gorgeous blue eyes, infectious smile, and caring heart. She was always full of surprises and jokes. Her great sense of humor and playful mood always uplifted everyone. Her generosity and compassion will never be forgotten. No matter the circumstances or your relation to her she would be there by your side at the drop of a hat. Donna's zest for life and the way she never acted her age, will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She was a fighter, a strong and courageous mother who her girls admired and looked up to. We are all so heartbroken to have lost someone so special. No words can truly express how deeply missed she will be. Until we see you again, shine down on us from the heavens above

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital in Donna's name.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment is private.
