Don Kevin Cain passed peacefully surrounded by love on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the age of 68. He was the amazing and proud father of Donell, Danette, and Derek (Tracey) Cain. He was the youngest son of the late Richard Cain Sr. and Effie L. Cain; Loving brother to the late Nettie Cain, Richard Cain Jr., Shirley Punch, Ronald, Clifton, and Michael Cain. He was survived by his beautiful and devoted wife Karen, and his bonus daughters Kelly Fortmayer(Justin) and Jennifer Lofton (Davis)He was the heroic, doting grandfather to Taylor Sherman, Cameron, Kenli and Kaidyn McLean, Avin, Falynn, and Delilah Cain, Kyleigh Griffen,Jade and Cal Fortmayer and great grandfather to Henry Sherman. Don was the epitome of strength and unconditional love and all who knew him would agree they are better people from having known him. Don was a dedicated, lifelong employee at Entergy, and was loved and will be missed by his Entergy family in addition to those that will forever remember the strength, love and light he brought to our worlds.
