He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a hard working family man, and a man of few words. He loved traveling. He was a school bus driver for Jefferson Parish Public Schools for 37 years. He also worked for the Town of Lafitte for 30 plus years, including delivering commodities and driving for the Senior Center. He was also a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. In his spare time, he loved boxing, working out, and attending fighting events. He would routinely take his wife, and often other family, to the movies every Sunday, most likely with a stop at the donut shop. He took good care of his family, and loved spoiling his grandchildren, attending all of their sports and events.
