Destinee Jade Jones

Destinee Jade Jones entered peacefully into heaven on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 24, along with her husband, Austin Ty Jones. Mother and father of Wyatt Holden Jones. She is survived by her parents, Janice Kelly Nicholas and Davis Joseph Nicholas, Jr. and her step-mother Deann Frank Nicholas. Granddaughter of Thelma B. Nicholas and the late Davis J. Nicholas, Sr. and Mary Helen Kelly and Dewey Kelly. She is also survived by her brothers, Davis Nicholas III (Ashlyn Lamonte), Dane Jordan Nicholas, Drew Jensen Nicholas (Jada Gonzales), Lee Joseph Tregre (Rebecka), Donna Tregre Breaux (Dwane) and closest friend and aunt, Donna Nicholas. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Dess” was employed by Deep South Communications Company for the past year and has worked in communications for the past years. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, softball, just anything with outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm . Visitation from 9:00 am until Funeral time. Interment following in Our Lady of Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hahnville/Taft.
