Derrick Joseph DiMarco

Derrick Joseph DiMarco of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the age of 37. He was born in Gretna, Louisiana to Rachel Bear (the late Everett) and the late Joseph DiMarco, Jr. Grandson of Joseph Sr. and Barbara DiMarco, Brenda Simons, and Terry Gittings and the late Forrest Gittings. Brother of Joseph DiMarco III (Valerie), James Wigstrom, Casey Bear, Paisley Bear, and the late Jessica A. DiMarco. Nephew of Wanda DiMarco Chenevert, Richard Gittings (Kristi), Rhonda Kramer (Erik), the late Ralph Gittings, and the late Rodney Gittings. Godfather of Layla Rodi. Derrick leaves behind his stepmother, Karen Siebenkittel. He is survived by his dog Jessie and his cat Pringles. Derrick is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

Derrick loved life! He would want to be remembered as the life of the party. He enjoyed fishing and gaming. Derrick especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

A Memorial service will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Bible Tabernacle Church, 1061 Oak Avenue in Westwego, Louisiana 70094. Prayers and Eulogies will begin at 12:30PM.
