Darryl L. Harrell

Darryl L. Harrell of the Westbank of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Los Angeles, California at the age of 56. He was born to the late Roddis James Harrell and Helen J. Quinn Harrell. Loving father of his two children Kiera and Enaj Washington and his three grandchildren. Brother of Archie Harrell, Jerry Harrell, Riley Harrell, Carol H. Johnson (Alvin), Catherine H. Permillion (David), Deatral H. Brown (Bryan), and the late Cheryl Harrell and Patricia Harrell. Darryl is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

Darryl was baptized at Stronger Hope Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana where he played the drums for the church band. He had a passion for music, especially playing the drums for his music ministry.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10AM on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
