Darlene Blakey passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 70 on August 12, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Roy and Helen Jacobsen. Wife of the late Raymond Leon Blakey, Sr. Mother of Raymond Leon Blakey, Jr. (Ann-Elise) and Ron Joseph Blakey (Christina). Grandmother of Rachel Geisz, Christian Swoop, Isabella Blakey. Sister of Roy Jacobsen, Jr. (Ernestine), Errol Jacobsen and Trudy Falterman (Herman). Beloved friend of Paul Clarence Guidry. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Darlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very kind, generous and accepting of everyone. She enjoyed shopping and giving gifts to those she loved. Darlene will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.
