Cynthia Estelle Matthews Terrebonne of Lafitte, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born to the late Stanislaus Matthews and Bertha Jenkins Matthews. She was married to Tracy Terrebonne. Loving mother of Stacy Pons, Wayne Shano, Jr., and Troy Shano. Cynthia was the grandmother of 8 grandchildren. Sister of Joe Simoneaux (Carol) and Margaret Matthews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time.
