Corina Plaisance Marie

Corina was the devoted mother of Kellie A. Casanova and Lenias J. Marie III (Trish B. Marie). Doting grandmother of Brennan J. Casanova, Morgan A. Marie, and Mason J. Marie. Sister of Cindy Breaux St. Blanc, the late Warren Plaisance Jr., and the late Chester Breaux.

Corina dedicated over 35 years at Ochsner Hospital and Clinic, where her strong work ethic shone through.

Corina had strong faith and love in Christ. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, whether it be cooking, vacationing, or spending quality time with them. Corina had a passion for tending to her garden. She also loved to watch movies. Most of all, Corina found her greatest joy within her family. She was a beloved mother and grandmother; always there to offer sound advice, counseling and love to those within her life. Her warmth, love, and loyalty will ever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held for Corina at Westside-Leitz/Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday, January 11, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Memories and expressions of sympathy may be left for the Marie family at www.westsideleitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
