Christopher Keith Henning

Christopher was the loving husband of Margarita Henning for 44 years. Proud father of Christie H. Findley (Leonard) and Christopher K. Henning Jr. (Brittany). Lito of five grandchildren; Ava, Gabriella, Jacob, Juliana, and Christopher M. Brother of Robert Henning and Rita Plaisance (Benny). Christopher is preceded in death by his siblings Roland B. Henning Jr., Charlie Henning, Margaret Galliano, and Cheryl Hebert. Christopher is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory. The Henning family would like to express their gratitude to Ms. Mary Smith for her dedication, care and compassion.

Chris was a shipfitter at Avondale Shipyard for approximately 32 years. He was a very active man, taking pleasure in walks and bike rides daily. Chris was the epitome of an outdoorsman, and could often be found rocking in his chair and listening to the radio. He also enjoyed good food with good company. Above all else, Chris took great pride in his family and his grandchildren were the apples of his eye.

A Memorial Mass for Christopher K. Henning Sr, will be held on March 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home. Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Words of sympathy and condolences can be left for the Henning family at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
