Big Dog was a dedicated, long-time employee of Grand Isle Shipyard for 24 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved coffee in the morning at Joe’s Landing. A longtime member of JB White Farms Hunting Club. A life-long Saint’s Football fan. Big Dog was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus Council Number 7350. He was the announcer or better known as “The Voice of the Gators” for Fisher High School Football. His favorite dish to cook was jambalaya, whether it was for family or fundraisers, no one will be able to copy his recipe. He was a big supporter of “No One Fights Alone”. He was a giver, he gave to everyone, and he never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff at Tulane Medical Center, the Tulane Transplant Institute and the Pregeant Family.
Our utmost gratitude to State Trooper George Baker for his selfless act of donation and gift of LIFE. His donation gave us 14 more months of cherished memories.
