Charlotte Anne Brown

Charlotte King Brown entered into eternal rest after a brief illness on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 4:21 PM. Age 71 years and a lifelong resident of Golden Meadow, LA.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Roger Carl Brown, her children; Celeste B. Pierce (Derek), Kelly Elizabeth Brown (Bart), and Justin Leland Brown, her grandchildren; Dylan M. Danos (Caitlin), Madison E. Davis, Hunter J. Doucet, and Karlyn R. Pierce, her brother; Louie R. King, and her godchildren; Rebecca L. King and Shaun E. Pierce.

She is preceded in death by her parents; James D. King and Patricia King Bollinger, her stepfather; Donald G. Bollinger, her brothers; James Claiborne King, and Rudy C. King, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Leland R. and Winnie Brown.

Charlotte was the Matriarch of the family; she loved spending time with her family for every holiday and special occasion that life brings. She cherished her children, grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her annual vacation to Navarre Beach, Florida with her Sensational Six group of friends where unforgettable memories were made. Charlotte enjoyed life and as her granddaughter Karlyn quoted, “Ma! I know there is a million cups of coffee and a brand new Tanning Bed waiting for you on the sandy beaches in heaven. We love you and we will miss you.”

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Memorial Services at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, LA on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, contribution can me made in loving memory of Charlotte to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
