Charlie Dixon

Charlie Dixon passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Susan Dixon for 24 years, love of her life for 35 years. Loving father of Jake Dixon and Lindsey Dixon. Brother of John Dixon, Pauline Dixon and Conchetta Dixon. Brother-in-law of Sherri Glass (Don) and Jennifer Craddock (Brian). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Barcelona Dixon and sister, Gayle Dixon.

Charlie was a life-long resident of the Westbank. He was a dedicated employee at Frito-Lay for 26 years. He loved spending time traveling with his family, watching the Saints games and enjoyed his yearly poker trip with his friends. To know Charlie was to love Charlie. He was the life of the party and he will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have met him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, October 4, 2021 beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located at 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM, with a short visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.
