Chance James Gomez, of New Orleans, Louisiana was taken too soon on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023, at the age of 35. Chance is now resting with his parents and brother. He was born to the late Cary J. Gomez and the late Terri Rae Gomez. Chance was the loving brother to the late Cody Rae Gomez. Grandson of Elmarell Gomez and Larry Walker, Sr. Chance was the nephew of Beverly Avery, Jimmy Walker, Tammy Gifford, Dawn Lauland, and Danny Gomez. Chance was dearly loved and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects beginning at 10:00AM and continuing until the service time. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana, where Chance will be laid to rest with his brother.
