On Saturday, April 24, Chad Michael Arcement, at the age of 48, transitioned into the afterlife where he was greeted by his father, Julien “Jay” Arcement, Jr; brother, Sean Arcement; uncle, Craig Arcement; and grandparents Laura and Julien Arcement and Leonise and Philo Crappel. Chad is survived by his Mother, Betty Jean Crappel Arcement; Son, Seven Arcement; Daughter Jewelz Arcement; siblings Kent Arcement, Marc Arcement Sr, Patricia and Larry Carter, Rory and Janae Arcement, Jason and Lily Arcement, Lance and Gina Arcement. Roxanne (Sean) Arcement, and his God-father, Robert Arcement. Chad also had a very special bond with his nephew Marty LeBlanc Jr and nieces Mandy LeBlanc and Amber Carter, whom he helped raise. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Chad, who was born on July 13, 1972, was raised in Terrytown, spent many years in Florida, and most recently resided in Gretna. He is known to be an extremely hard worker, a loyal and loving family man, and the life of any party. He spent most of his free time doing what he loved most, fishing on the open water. Chad was also the sole proprietor of “The Chad’s Fencing Company” and “The Chad’s Fishing Charters” proving that he was successful in all endeavors. He had ability, attitude, knowledge, and most of all pride in his craft. Chad was also known for his notable athleticism, sharp sense of humor, and his great big welcoming smile. Chad never met a stranger! His love for his friends came second only to that of his family and God. Chad’s Christian faith was deep and unwavering, and he is now enjoying eternal happiness with his Heavenly Father.
