Catherine Chauvin

Catherine Constant Chauvin, age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011. Daughter of the late John P. and Lillian Constant, wife of the late Junius J. Chauvin Jr.. Preceded in death by siblings Desiree, John, Earnest, Clifton, and Ronald Constant, Inez Autin, Cecile St. Romain, and Shirley Delger. Also preceded in death by her eldest son Michael Chauvin, grandson Mathew Foret, and sons-in-law Angelo Cascio III and Bobby Williams Sr. Survived by children, Cynthia Foret (Ray), Gerard Chauvin (Debbie), Lydia Rolland (Chris), Marguerite Cascio, Kenneth Chauvin (Deannie), Kevin Chauvin (Retta), Karen Raynes, Kathryn Chauvin (Ashley), and daughter-in-law Janet Chauvin. Also survived by sisters Hilda Rodriguez, and Gladys Neil, 18 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Retired from the Office of Family Support. Special thanks to the staff of Wynhoven.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and continue on Monday at 10:00 AM until the Mass at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
