Brock was born in Greenville, Mississippi and spent his childhood in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Missouri, wit
h summers in the heart of east Texas, with his grandparents in Diboll and Hudson, TX. Over the last 13 years he has become a true Louisianan, living in Jefferson Parish with his wife, Bridgette, and two beautiful daughters, Brynna and Brooke. He is survived by his wife and daughters. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Hendry of Diboll, TX; his paternal grandmother Lula Hendry, of Lufkin, TX; his sister Natalee Kauffman (Bret) of Springfield, MO, and niece Katherine also of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dwain ‘Doc’ Hendry. He also leaves behind a small army of aunts, uncles, in-laws and cousins.
Brock was a faithful parishioner, and member of the men’s club, of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church in River Ridge.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff at both Touro Infirmary and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Particularly, the crew from the 21st floor at MD Anderson. Thank you for helping through this last month. Your love, caring spirits, and patience has not gone unnoticed.
A wake will he held at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in River Ridge on Tuesday, April 23 at 10:45AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30PM. Brock will be interred in his family cemetery at Ryan’s Chapel, in Diboll, TX on Thursday, April 25 at 3:30PM. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
