Anthony Joseph Marie Sr.

God called our beloved Anthony home on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 at the age of 67. Words cannot express our sense of loss for the man that wore the cap of husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Anthony was born on February 14th, 1955. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rheba V. Marie. Loving father of Carol Marie LeBrane, Anthony J. Marie Jr., and step father of Donald Lemoine, Joseph Lemoine, and Dawn Lemoine Autin. Proud Paw of Angel, Brenna, Perry, Christian, Jayden, and his step grandchildren Jasmine, Joe Joe, Tommy, DJ, Jacob, Jonathan, Crystal, CJ, and six great grandchildren. Brother of Rozetta Mollere, Donna Percle, Pamela Marie, and Sherree Martinez. Anthony is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent "Veno" Marie and Carrie Meyers Marie, his brother Roddy J. Marie, and his two nephews Vincent Marie and Jose Martinez, Jr.

Anthony's greatest love was family and food. He enjoyed cooking for his family and spending quality time with them.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A night wake will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, beginning at 9:00AM until the Mass time. Anthony will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego, Louisiana.
