Anthony “Red” Milton Gambino, Jr., 59, a native of Waggaman, Louisiana and a resident of Raceland, Louisiana, was born on August 17, 1957 and entered peacefully into heaven on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Bonnie Plaisance Gambino and was a loving father of Anthony Milton Gambino III and Laticia Gambino Mott (the late Tony Mott). A proud grandfather of Ashlyn Mott, Karlee Mott and Hunter Mott. Son of the late Hilda Starkey Gambino and Anthony Milton Gambino, Sr. and son-in-law of the late Eula Dufrene Plaisance and Herbert Paul Plaisance. He was the brother of Rosemary Gambino. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
“Red” was a self-employed business owner of R & R Produce and was a former truck driver for Gambino’s Trucking Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for his multitude of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Westwego, LA on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:30 PM.
