Albert "Buddy" Anthony Ronquille Jr.

Albert "Buddy" Anthony Ronquille Jr. of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born in Lafitte, Louisiana to the late Albert "Doc" A. Ronquille, Sr. and Cecile Maise Ronquille. Buddy was married to the late Janet Mills Ronquille. Father of Dorothy Nichols (Brian), Joseph Ronquille, Tiffany Ryan (Mike), Brad Nesom, Sr. (Marie), and the late Charlie Ronquille (Michelle). Brother of the late Allen Ronquille, the late Jane Rudisaile (Darryl), Cecile Rawle (Irvin Jr.), Pam Creppel (the late Percy, Jr.), Samuel Ronquille (Deborah), Kenneth Ronquille (Brenda), James Ronquille, Harold Ronquille (Sheila), Michael Ronquille (Foxy), Perry Ronquille, Sr. (Karen), and Keith Ronquille. Grandfather of seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Buddy was a retired Tugboat Captain that served over 40 years for Settoon Towing. As a young boy, Buddy loved to trawl that also helped to support his family. He loved dancing, drawing, painting his finished drawings, fishing, and enjoying music. He especially loved Elvis music playing when he cleaned and did things around the house. Woodworking was also one of his favorite hobbies. He loved being at the ballpark to watch the grandkids play ball. Buddy was a family man who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Buddy will be laid to rest with his late wife at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
