Adam Jean Blanchard III

Adam Jean Blanchard, III of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on April 3, 2025. Son of Adam Jean Blanchard, Jr. and Ada T. Blanchard. He is survived by his wife Jamie K. Blanchard of twenty six years. Father of Kaleigh N. Blanchard (Jonathan), Kody P. Blanchard (Kaylee), Karleigh A. Blanchard (Cody) and the late Adam J. Blanchard, IV. Brother of Robin Swider (Kellee). Son-in-law of Robin Adams and the late Boyd Kinler. Brother-in-law of Ashley Cortez (Susan) and Samantha Adams. Godson of Jamie Orgeron and the late Oliver "Popeye" Blanchard. Godfather of Ada, Eva, Layla and Brayden. Adam is also survived by his cousins, who were more like brothers, T.J. and Brian, lifelong friends Tony, Stephen, David and Jeremy as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that aren’t mentioned above but who were loved by him dearly. Preceded in death by grandparents, Adam and Rose Blanchard, Sr. and Joseph and Melba Tallieu as well as his Uncle Ricky who he had a special relationship with.

Adam was previously employed by Artco and Tenaris for many years where he made lifelong connections. He was a member of Indivisible Friends Masonic Lodge 404 who will be helping us to remember him.

He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, quick wit and compassion for others. His hobbies included building bicycles, collecting unique items, fishing and playing the guitar and video games. He was always interested in researching and learning something new.

Adam had many talents, one of them being his ability to draw which he passed down to all three of his children. He enjoyed family gatherings but he especially cherished the time spent with his children- Kaleigh, Kody and Karleigh- and his true love, Jamie. Adam will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but it brings us peace to know he is reunited with his son, “Baby Adam”, whom he longed for dearly.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date for those who would like to help us celebrate Adams life.
