Tony Rodriquez Soto, 65, of Marlin, TX, formally of Highbank, TX, entered into God’s everlasting Glory Tuesday, November 3, 2020. A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Marlin, TX on Monday, November 9, 2020 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Marlin, TX. Tony was born on January 24, 1955 in Marlin Tx. to Julia Rodriquez Soto and Cruz Torres Soto. He graduated from Marlin High School. Tony was married to ErmaLinda Silvas for 18 years. During that marriage he had 5 loving children, Martin, Jena, Allycia, Jacob, and Jordan Soto. He worked for Missouri / Union Pacific Railroad Company until 1987 when he was injured and diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease. He remained on kidney dialysis for a total of 33 years. Upon many seasons of diligent treatment, Tony met the love of his life, Annette Castro. They were married in 2013 and remained in a loving union until his last day. Tony loved to travel the beautiful countryside with his wife and spend time with his family and close friends. He had absolutely no problem making you laugh and was always able to put a smile on your face. Tony was a firm believer in hard work, and was always willing to give to others in need. His range of knowledge and life experience allowed him to carry a conversation with just about anyone. He was a joy to be around and he loved his family. He was led by his faith and his belief in Jesus Christ. Tony will continue to live on through his children and through the lives of those he touched. Tony is survived by his wife, Annette Soto, his children Martin Soto and wife Nancy, Jena Soto and husband André, daughter Allycia, Jacob Soto and wife Sarah, Jordan Soto and wife Clarissa. Eddie Ann Mejia and husband Danny, Abby Aguilar and husband Daniel, and Rose Castro; his grandchildren Jimmie, Caryssa, Anthony Jr., Isabella, Mia, Justice, Sonia, Alexandra, Bennett, Daniel, Santi, Nydia, and Diego; his siblings Josie Fuentes (Luis), Susie Reyna (Carlos), Rosie Carrizales (Pedro), Annie Soto (Felipe) and Cruz Soto Jr.; father in law, Alfonso M. Reyna Jr. as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Julia Soto and siblings Ennis Soto, Joe Soto, Rachel Carrizales, Janie Soto, and Lupe Soto Hernandez. Pallbearers: Joe Martinez Soto. Joe Soto Jr..
