Sondra Miller

Sondra was born on December 25, 1950 to Joseph and Gladys Arthur in Springville, Indiana. As a child, she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and personable demeanor that was enjoyed by many. Sondra attended Eastern Greene High School in Greene County, Indiana where she met the love of her life, Donald Miller. Following graduation, Sondra and Don began their adventure in life together and were married on June 29, 1968 in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois. Married for 47 years, Sondra and Don raised their 4 children, Paula, Dawn, Donnie and Jacquelyn over the years in Temple, Cameron, College Station, Waco and retired in Marlin, Texas. She worked for Scott & White Clinic for over 20 years, retiring as Clinic Manager of the Bellmead Clinic in 2012. Sondra loved planning events, reading, sewing, crafting and playing games/cards – especially with her grandchildren. She was the heart of the Miller family and will never be forgotten.

Sondra is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Leach.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Miller of Marlin, her son; Donnie Miller of Waco, her daughters; Paula and husband William Asher of San Antonio, Dawn Storm of Brenham, and Jacquelyn and husband Christopher Geiger of Houston, her father; Joseph Arthur, brothers; Joe Arthur, Mark Arthur and Jim Arthur, Sisters; Renee Leach and Jennifer Rash and nine grandchildren; Jacob and Zachery Storm, Lauren and Haley Asher, Derek, Brent, Nicolas and Serenity Geiger and Savanah Miller.

Visitation with the family will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Kerry Sharp of Temple Christian Center officiating.
