Phillip was born on March 9, 1962, to Gabriel R. Alfano and Frances Alfano Roming. He graduated from Marlin High School in 1980. Phillip spent most of his adult life in Marlin where he established his own landscaping and lawn tech service company. He serviced businesses and homeowners in the central Texas area for almost 30 years.
For those who were fortunate to know Phillip, knew that he never met a stranger and would always help anyone when in need. While working tirelessly to serve his faithful customers, he was always loving and supporting his family.
Our hearts are heavy with sorrow, and we will continue to miss him deeply every day, as will all those who knew and loved him.
Phillip is survived by his mother Frances, whom he loved and cared for deeply; his loving sisters Cynthia Alfano Hentrich, Gloria Alfano Dearen, and big brother Tommy Alfano. His beautiful children, whom he loved with all his heart, Jaden Alfano, Jillian Alfano, Hailey Johnson-Alfano Brown, and Abbey Johnson-Alfano. The many nieces and nephews, whose lives he was an integral part of… CaCee Cobb, Frank McKinley IV, Gabe Garrett, Brandon Garrett, Maggie Garrett, Michael Hentrich, Gaylon Alfano, Sarah Shannon and Dustin Shannon, and a dear cousin to many others.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father Gabriel R. Alfano, who passed away in 1963.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Adams Funeral Home, 129 Coleman St, Marlin, TX.
Immediately following there will be a private family and close friends gathering at the “Falls on the Brazos Park” at 5:00 - 7:00pm.
