Pauline C. Wichkoski, 98 or Marlin, entered into rest on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Golden Years Nursing and Rehab, Marlin Texas. A visitation for Pauline will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home, 129 Coleman Street, Marlin, Texas 76661. A rosary will be prayed Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 311 Oaks Street, Marlin, Texas, Rev. Gregory A. McLaughlin officiating. Pauline will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery, Marlin, Texas.
Pauline Clara Schilling was born on February 4, 1926 to Will C. and Clara Moeller Schilling in Lott, Texas. She was the sixth of eight children. The family were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lott, Texas. Upon graduating Lott High School in 1943, Pauline and her sister Margaret attended the Waco War School Vocational Training and received certification as Aircraft-Riveter for Aircraft Sheet Metal.
Pauline married Adam S. Wichkoski on April I0, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marlin. Together they had two children, son Dennis and daughter Susan. Pauline retired from the Falls County Farm Service Agency in Marlin after 25 years of service. She cared for her husband during his lengthy illness until his death in 2005.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Adam, granddaughter Jennifer, son Dennis, her brothers and sisters Robert Schilling, Rose Lee Koslosky, Ordelia Feind, Willie Schilling, Margaret Wisnewski, Jose Schilling and Andrew Schilling.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Susan Tomjack and husband Tim, daughter-in-law Karen Wichkoski, grandson Jeremy Ballard and wife On, granddaughters Kathryn Alexander and husband Joel, Jonnye Bower and husband Philip, Janna Ballard and Trina Wichkoski. She is survived by her great grandchildren Kari Jones, Christianna Ballard, Johnathan Webb, Sofia Bower, Nicholas Vecchio, Clara Ballard and Alina Bower. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joel Alexander, Jeremy Ballard, Philip Bower. Tim Tomjack, Nicholas Vecchio and Johnathon Webb.
