Mary Lee Rees Vann

Mary lee Vann, 83, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Waco. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 6th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vann was born on August 1, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Fred Lee and Marion Catherine (Guledge) Rees. She attended school in Reagan and graduated from Marlin High School. Mrs. Vann married Henry Clay Vann on February 22, 1951. She loved to cook, read and work with children; she worked in the Mart schools and was a volunteer with the First Baptist Church with the children. But her true love was her family. Mrs. Vann was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson; David Lynn Fife II.

Survivors include her children; Cathy Fife and husband, David, Carol Stone and husband, Max and Clay Vann and wife, Mary, grandchildren; Tracy Grossman and husband, Michael, SuDonna Lindner and husband, Donny, Tonia Allen and husband, Ryan, Megan Bailey and husband, Travis and Teresa Horvath and husband, Justin, great grandchildren; Tori, Lilly and Nathan Grossman, Jessica, Wyatt and Judson Lindner, Audrey Baquet, Gwen Bailey and Lexi and Tyler Lowe and Genevieve Horvath, sister; Ann Ingram and nephews; Scott and Stuart Ingram.
