Lillie Mae Blann, 96, of Marlin, passed away at her residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, November 12th from 4:00 PM -6:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Blann was born in Otto, Texas to Jim and Rosie (Chane) Garza. She married Willie Forrest Blann on December 25, 1945 and they celebrated over 52 wonderful years together until his death on January 25, 1997.
Mrs. Blann loved the Dallas Cowboys, doing arts and crafts with her great grandchildren, reading her Bible, great cook but her true love was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Jackie, Jimmy and Kim and grandchildren; Kendall “Bean” Blann and Clarence “Bubba” Penny.
Survivors include her children; Thomas Blann and his wife, Jo Ann, Sylvia Wojchowski, Willie Blann and his wife, Renae, Woodie Blann and his wife, Diane and Mildred Cannary and husband, Brian, 27 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, sisters; Johnnie Hounsel and Jimmie Townsend, brother; Richard Garza and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
