Josephine Musia age 83 passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 15, 2024 after suffering a stroke which committed her to hospice care. Prior to her passing she had spent almost three years in constant care at Providence St. Catherine Center in Waco, TX. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Friday, May 24th at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, TX with burial immediately following in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin.
A great portion of her life was dedicated to caring for her mother and father. She never had the opportunities to make a life of her own away from home as we know it but anyone that knew her could tell you how creative she was especially baking for individuals or even a wedding cake.
She is survived by her brother, Sam Musia and wife, Mary of Waco, one niece, Leahanne Costello and husband, Ty, a nephew, David Musia, and a nephew, Steve Musia and wife, Terri. She also had three great nieces and three great nephews and an abundance of cousins.
A great thanks to all the staff at Providence St Catherine Center and Community Health Care of Texas for the care provided during her stay.
