Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 15, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas. Interment will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery in Cedar Springs, Texas with Military Honors provided by the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 14th at the funeral home.
Mr. Rollins was born on March 25, 1948 in Fairfield, Texas to Leeman and Zora (Bailey) Rollins. He was raised at the Methodist Home in Waco, Texas. He married Elva on March 18, 1992 in North Richland Hills, Texas and they celebrated over 31 wonderful years together. Mr. Rollins served his Country in the United States Army and the Marine Corps; he served 2 three years tours in Viet Nam; he was the recipient of the Presidential Unit Citation and the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife; Elva Rollins, and children; Laura Rollins, Lily Baker, Donna Habbinga, Marsha Pate, Kevin Pate, Lena Hayes. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
