From his big brother Ben- I just want everyone to know that Jacob was so strong and always wanted the best for everyone. He lived with pain for 7 years and cherished life with us to the end. He chose peace over pain and he always had a full heart and a smile that never quit. He was one of the toughest guys around and the last thing he ever wanted was to checkout and say goodbye to the life and loved ones he adored so much. He will be missed by those who knew him, for he was a stand up guy, a gentleman and a true man of God. He did everything right, even when life dealt him a terrible hand. He fought through it with true grit, and never let his hopes fade. He was Jacob Andrew Lopez, the man, the myth and a true f****** legend!
