Evelyn M Slafka Rosas

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., July 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Kelley as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

Evelyn was born March 3, 1947 to Louis and Vergie Slafka in Bremond, Texas. She worked as a seamstress for many years and most recently for H.E.B. the last 13 years. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cisto Rosas and granddaughter, Megan Brasher.

Survivors include daughters, Denise Brasher, Rene Rosas and husband Lee, and Jennifer Rosas and husband Noah; grandchildren, Antonio Brasher and wife Sarah, Marisa Lopez, Jaylen Williams, Zoey and Emily Beavers; and great granddaughter, Aubrey Brasher. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Ellis, Doris Medley and husband George and Diane Kempenski and husband John and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
