Donald "Lindsey" Dragoo (Ferguson), age 55, peacefully gained his angel wings on Saturday, June 4, 2022, which was also his one year sobriety anniversary. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home with Chaplain Nathan Dunman officiating.
Lindsey was born on March 11, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio to Lindsey Ferguson III & Renee' Kroll. After living in Florida for many years, he moved to Texas where he graduated from Marlin High School in 1986. He then made his permanent home in Louisiana.
He worked various jobs, but two of his favorite were for Fleetwood Homes & Zachary. He always had a free spirit and a "Take it all in stride" outlook on life. He loved music, two stepping, watching Texas A&M and Dallas Cowboys football, fishing, traveling & letting the sunshine hit his face. Family meant the world to him so he loved having all of the family come together to eat, play games, and laugh until their stomachs hurt.
Lindsey was preceded in death by his grandparents; Lindsey & Claudine Ferguson and Joseph & Lillian Doherty and his beloved dog Aggie.
Left to cherish his memory are his love and "his Karen" for over 20 years Karen Boyler; his parents, including his step-dad Kenneth Kroll who always treated him as his own; son Rikki Dragoo, daughter Chelsea Dragoo and step-daughter Harley Jordan; grandsons Carson & M.J.; sisters Vicki (Robert) Olivo, Dion Hinnant and Laurie (Brian) Mullins; step siblings Stephen Kroll and Rhonda (Scott) Bays; several aunts & uncles; and numerous nieces & nephews.
In honor of Lindsey we ask that you dress casual and if possible wear Texas A&M colors to his memorial.
